Three decisions that make
the next ones easier.

01

Decide how you want it to feel.

Each write down three priorities. Compare them before choosing a venue or building another inspiration board.

Try: a relaxed meal, time with family, and space to dance.

02

Give the guest list a range.

Sketch a smaller and a larger version before promising invitations. Capacity, food, transport, and rentals all depend on it.

Ask: who do we want beside us, and what can we comfortably host?

03

Compare the complete cost.

Request quotes for the same guest count, hours, staffing, and rentals. Separate mandatory charges from optional extras.

Check: setup, service, tax, overtime, and the final collection.

Food, tables & the time together

A good celebration
makes people feel welcome.

Start with the guest experience: a meal that fits the room, a comfortable place to sit, and enough time to enjoy both.

  • Ask how the service style changes staffing and timing.
  • Give dietary requirements a clear route to the caterer.
  • Plan the waiting, walking, and journey home.
